Sherbrooke intercultural encounters week

Happening in town for the eighth year, the Semaine Sherbrookoise des rencontres interculturelles (SSRI) will be held from Oct. 16 to 24. More than 40 activities will be offered to the Sherbrooke public.

Around 30 different organizations are offering cultural, sports and educational activities with a common theme: the coming together of different cultures. This is a great way to highlight the important contribution of Sherbrooke residents of all origins, to encourage dialogue and to promote intercultural understanding.

The Frontières abolies, culture enrichie awareness tour is back this year with a four-episode video podcast that will be made available to seniors’ residences to promote reflection on cultural diversity.
