Ukraine Fundraiser Rock and Roll Dance Party (in conjunction with the Canadian Red Cross) featuring The Random Chance Band, on Friday, May 27 at Auberge Lakeview Inn, 50 rue Victoria, Lac-brome. Tickets $20 per person, Doors open at 7 p.m. Music begins at 8 p.m. Tickets available at the door or reserve by calling Alka 450-931-1111 or Larry 514-210-8843. Canadian Red Cross will issue a tax receipt for additional donations of $20 or more.

Silent Auction in Georgeville on Saturday, May 28 at the Community Hall, 4680 ch. de Georgeville. Hundreds of items: art, framed prints, lamps, rugs, antiques, linens, glassware, oneof-a-kind treasures. Cash and cheques only, bring your own bags. Opens 9:30 a.m., last bids 11:30 a.m. Benefit for the 2 village churches.

Dance at the Ives Hill Hall on Saturday, May 28 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Music by the Country Swingers. Refreshments available. Admission $10. All welcome. Covid protocol in place.

You are invited to a free breakfast conference, sponsored by The User Committee members of La Pommeraie, at the Royal Canadian Legion, 2 Curley Street, Sutton on Sunday, May 29 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. There are two invited speakers, pastries and coffee. Come and learn about the many benefits of becoming a volunteer in the community. We will be waiting for you! The User Committee of the Pommeraie.

Tea & Talk will meet in person outside on May 31 at 2pm at the Canot-kayak Park, 220 rue Principal Sud. Bring your own lawn chair. A social afternoon for seniors in the greater Richmond/ Danville community to get together. And talk! Tell a friend to make it double the fun. Townships Grandmother’s annual plant sale!! All proceeds will go to the Stephen Lewis Foundation Grandmothers Campaign.africa is still in the grips of not only the HIV AIDS pandemic, but now, COVID pandemic, as well. Donations of all kinds of plants are welcome - annuals, perennials, vegetables, houseplants, herbs, bulbs and seeds, etc. They may be delivered earlier, 8 rue Gagne, Sutton, or pick up is possible - call us at 450-538-5294. Selling of plants will begin on June 4 and 5 and will continue the following weekends if plants remain.
