The return of St-jean in Magog

Having just recovered from Spirituo, held recently in town, the Corporation des événements is already looking forward to the return of St-jean Baptiste celebrations in Magog, presented by Magog Concept Chrysler Inc.

Programming

This year, for the St-jean-baptiste celebration presented by Magog Concept Chrysler Inc. one evening has been organized to celebrate Quebec. It will be on June 24, 2022 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Parc de la Pointe-merry to commemorate the holiday.

During this event, several activities have been planned. To begin with, the essential element of any good St-jean celebration, a bonfire worthy of the name will take place in the center of Merry Point. The celebration will also include a band that pays tribute to one of the greatest groups of Quebec music, Hommage aux Colocs - L’oeuvre d’andré Dédé Fortin who will be there to play some of the band’s classics. As for the kids, there will be inflatable games start-ing at 6 p.m. at the site. Finally, if anyone is feeling hungry, le Petit Taco will be set up in the park.

Sébastien Dansereau, Events Coordinator of the Magog Events Corporation, explains that the

Corporation wanted to do everything possible to organize a party that will bring people back to Magog for St-jean. The entire team of the Corporation will be on hand to welcome visitors.
