Elvis

He also offered half an hour of different musical styles and invited people to get on the dance floor and they did.

Here is the message he sent me when he returned home and I think everyone would like to read it.

“Massive thanks to the Canadian Legion in Stanstead, Quebec, Canada, for hosting my “ELVIS” Tribute (and more) concert yesterday. Those people know how to party!

Incredible sold-out audience and I

have no idea if that building could have fit any more people! Thanks to Brad Crawford, along with the President of the Club, the staff of the Legion, all the dancers in the back (I saw you), and everyone who came (and those who helped unload and reload all the gear)!

We had a lot of fun and it is because of all of you who came to the show! You were amazing! And a very special thanks to all those Italian ladies, who came all the way from Montreal to see the show! I am

humbled by your presence and kind words. A great time and certainly will be a memorable event for me. . . God bless you all!”

There was also a very touching moment when Brad Crawford introduced and thanked Air Force Captain veteran Don Taylor for his service. Taylor is 101 years old and was accompanied by his wife Gail. Both of them enjoyed the show very much.

Crawford also took time to thank the staff for their collaboration and

people for their participation in the afternoon. Actually, Crawford has been very involved in Legion activities and volunteering his time. He said he’s trying to make it a place where people have fun and enjoy going.

President Robert Baird was also very happy with the turn out. There are many events coming up and you can follow their Facebook page. Sure thing, the last words of everyone present were “We would see that show again anytime!”
