Community Singers Fundraiser concert for the Knowlton United Church, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. Admission at the door: $20. All proceeds go to the Church.

The Hamdinger is back! All are welcome to St. George’s Church, 84 Queen St., Lennoxville on September 24 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a delicious dinner. On the menu: ham, baked beans, scalloped potatoes, squash, corn casserole, peas, rolls, and ice cream with pumpkin dessert or fruit salad. $15 per person. Come by and bring a friend.

The St Francis Valley Naturalists’ Club presents: Pollen Allergies and Climate Change. What effect might climate change have on seasonal allergies? What role would air pollution play in this? Dr. Levac of Bishop’s University will share some of her knowledge and research into this important field.

Canadian Club of the Yamaska Valley Meeting, Tuesday, October 4, 2 p.m., Auberge West Brome, 128 Route,129. Granby Zoo representatives will speak about the world-wide contributions the Zoo makes in the area of nature conservation. St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, 20 rue Gordon, will be hosting a Harvest Dinner & Dance on Saturday, October 22 after a 4 p.m. Mass.
