The Brome County Historical Society is pleased to announce the return of the Marion L. Phelps Memorial Lectures, prepared, and presented by Jimmy Manson. The three-lecture series (previously presented) is titled: “Heartbreak and Hope: An Intimate Examination of the Lives of Selected Townshippers during the last half of the 195h century” The lectures will be given on January 28, February 4 & 11, 2023 at the Centre Lac-brome, 270 rue Victoria, Knowlton. The Town of Brome Lake Wellness Volunteer Centre will be holding its annual general meeting at the Community Centre on February 20 at 5 p.m. All Wellness volunteers, supporters, and clients, as well as anyone interested in learning more about the Wellness Volunteer Centre are invited to attend.
