Regional Eastern Star Chapters and the Fordyce Women’s Institute donate to Mental Health Estrie

Janet Patch is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Fordyce Women’s Institute. Her attachment to these two organizations has allowed her to gather many contributions to the Mental Health Estrie HUGS Program. HUGS stands for hats, underwear, gloves, socks and scarves. These items are distributed to the homeless through Mental Health Estrie.

As we go through this extreme cold patch it is so hard to imagine anyone having to be without a home. It also connects us with the people of Ukraine who are going without electricity and heat for months on end.

Janet has made a connection with Mental Health Estrie for several years. Her devotion has inspired members of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Women’s Institute to make donations for her to bring in on their behalf.
