Amemory… A memory is like a good laugh with close friends, it's like a warm hot chocolate on a snowy day, it's sweet and brings you happiness every time you think about it. Although a memory can also be like falling off your bike, it hurts and it leaves a mark. A memory is not always happy but the best ones are, and at the end of the day they all stay like a small little tattoo on your heart.

A couple of weeks ago, I interviewed my mom about a memory she had. She told me about one of her best memories. While I interviewed her I saw that it was a happy memory by the way she explained it and the smile on her face while talking. Her memory was that every summer when she was around my age she would go to her Grandma's chalet and she would play around all day with her cousins. She looked really happy while we were talking about it. We had a good laugh when she told me all the crazy things she did there. I asked her if sometimes she still goes there and she told me they sold it to someone else because it was causing too much trouble. We talked more about her memory, we laughed, we smiled, and we had a great time. Now when I talk about it with my mom I always see a smile on her face.

A memory is like a big bowl of candy. It's sweet, it's colourful, and everybody likes it. But like a big bowl of candy, a memory can be like the most delicious and sweetest candy in the big bowl. It can also be like the nasty ones with the weird texture. I enjoyed talking with my mom about her memory, and when she told me about it I instantly knew it was the sweetest and most delicious candy in her own big bowl.
